I have bought the Pro edition whereby i am using this with a proper touch screen with the touch screen version. We are using Windows Embedded 7 and it doesnt seem to retain the settings so whenever the PC boots up it does not start the keyboard. I checked the settings under the preferences, it does not allow me to check the option of the keyboard starting on logon.

Any ideas would be great.

I re-installed the keyboard so the keyboard pops up on login but when you login, the keyboard does not launch at all. We tried opening up a webpage to try enter data into the field and it does not pop up unless everytime you go onto the desktop and click on the exe to make the keyboard. So if the PC reboots, it never opens automatically. I even tried putting the exe into the registry and still it does not pop up on its own.

Any solutions for this one? Same problme here. The Keyboard starts but stays inside the tray icons area. It doesn't pop up onto the screen.

Did you set "Show the on-screen keyboard when the text cursor is visible" option?

Some applications draw the text cursor in their own way and do not provide information about its state. In this case, you can open the keyboard by pressing a hotkey or clicking the keyboard icon. You can also install a Browser Extension.

This works so far but I think it could be better if the keyboard just sticks to the desktop. Now it disappears when no cursor is present.

Sorry, I don't understand the problem. Uncheck "Show the on-screen keyboard when the text cursor is visible" option, and click the icon in system tray.

Sometimes it can be that easy. So far it is worling as I want it to, there is only one more 'but'. Do you see any option to start it after login? I always have to click it in the icon tray. I tried to start it from startup folder, or from a planned task but it doesnt come up after login...

Set "Run Comfort On-Screen Keyboard at Windows startup" option:
